I met Ernesto Colnago in 1985 who proposed the study of a cycle for this specialty. I thought of a mixed structure, the main and structural one was made of FC and the saddle support and the bridge between the steering tube and rear fork in Titanium, the pedal unit was keyed on an eccentric coaxial hub so that it can be moved about 4 cm. the axis of the pedals to adapt the effort to the path. The seat post was keyed to the pedal hub and the saddle was moved according to requirements simply by unlocking everything with a clamp closure. Ernesto was enthusiastic but stalled, he was still too attached to the tubes!
