Studio-Alfa Romeo P33 Roadster /studio-1968

 

 

 

 

Towards the end of the 1960s it was the prerogative of Italian coachbuilders to be present always and in any case at the international salons, demonstrating beyond the models presented, considerable creativity. One of the studies done at Pininfarina for 1968 was this new version of the Alfa Romeo P33 Roadster, which however was not chosen because it was affected too much by the influences of the other prototypes of the time, such as the Alfa Romeo Carabo of Bertone. Yet the study showed several interesting and innovative solutions for the time, such as the oil cooler placed in the roof triangle, or again, the air outlet in the rear mirror, made up of two half-cylinders that opened to facilitate ventilation.
