In the 60s a certain interest developed for the Hovercraft, all-terrain or amphibious alternative vehicles, but the proposals were addressed mainly for military uses and for "rescue" operations in the civil field.
In 1969 I made a proposal for civil use as an alternative to the car but the kinder word was "visionary".
Now, after about forty years, this idea could probably arouse some attention given the proliferation of imaginative proposals by young designers.
