Studio Pantera Rest./Rossignolo-2004

 The sports car concept, equipped with a central V8 engine, follows the stylistic features, proportions and DNA of the original Pantera, adapting it to today's times; the drawings anticipate the prototype, which will probably be unveiled at the Los Angeles Motor Show later this year. The project was not commissioned by the De Tomaso company, but by a private collector, who "intended to relive and materialize the dream of supercars at affordable prices, but not disdaining a one-of-a-kind specimen for himself".
Also noteworthy is the "dream car" version, with an upward-hinged door and transparent wall in "Balistic Lexan", so as to visually perceive the road from the side to increase emotion and driving pleasure.

 

 

La concept di auto sportiva, dotata di motore centrale V8, ricalca stilemi, proporzioni e DNA della Pantera originaria, adattandola ai tempi odierni; i disegni anticipano il prototipo, che verrà svelato probabilmente al Motor Show di Los Angeles entro fine anno. Il progetto non è stato commissionato dalla società De Tomaso, ma un collezionista privato, che «intendeva rivivere e materializzare il sogno delle Supercar a prezzi accessibili, ma non disdegnando un esemplare unico per se stesso».

Da notare anche la versione “dream car”, con porta incernierata verso l’alto e parete trasparente in “Balistic Lexan”, in modo da percepire visivamente la strada di lato per aumentare l’emozione e il piacere di guida.
